2015 Tax review

My return is a bit complex. TURBO Tax (long time user) was the best way to go. I have investments (stocks and bonds), real estate, etc.
What's great about it: easy to use---good tips
What's not so great: none

Worst Experience in 6yrs

Spent at least 3-4 hours on the phone service people. The problem was the the Intuit system would not transmit using a MAC BOOK PRO WITH EL CAPITIAN(SAFARI). FINALLY the rep located in Boulder Cololado (support #416114049) talked me through the process that worked.(11/2 hrs) I can’t believe that Intuit would NOT test all sysems(including Safari) before selling to the public.I saved a few of the support #’s 416004390,416114049,416005985 plus some more I did’nt write down.
What's great about it: none
What's not so great: Intuit would NOT transmit return

I have used TurboTax for years and find it easy to follow. It has aided me through retirement and becoming a widow. Helped take much of the 'fear factor' out of the process
What's great about it: TurboTax asked the questions simply
What's not so great: Needed a little more aid with determining head of household status

I Finally Finished It

I been using your program for the last five years. Yours is the best in comparison to Tax Cut and HR Block, which I used before using TurboTax. My complaint is that in the last two years I cannot get the TurboTax Basic. This all I need since I can fill out state taxes on state online entry. The reason I do this is because the state on line program allows me options that your program does not provide. An example is Delaware online tax entry. The state's program allows me to save more money by filling separate combined. Your program only uses the filling status from on federal and choses married joint. This option has me paying more money. Otherwise, I must say your program is the best one on the market.
What's great about it: I like the option of step-by-step or individual entry into the program.
What's not so great: The price of the state income tax is $20 higher than what I paid for Turbo Tax Delux, also not accurate.

Won't import last years info!

For many years, now, TurboTax for Mac has been unable to import information from my previous year's return. I keep hoping this will be fixed, but it never is. This means I have to enter everything all over again, ever year. Even my name.
I did not want to get TurboTax this year, but I seem to be trapped in automatic renewal Hades. I can't get into the website to cancel my automatic renewal, because it won't update my password.

10 years of using Turbo Tax and counting

Turbo tax is fast and easy to use. E-Filing gets the refund faster.
What's great about it: Very easy to use
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
