First time problem

For the first time I had a problem with TurboTax. I was not able to print any of my returns from the application. I had to save to a file on computer and print from there.

I have used this product for several years, and have always had an accurate, easily filed, return. After moving to another state in the past year, turbo tax made it simple to file all the needed returns.
What's great about it: all forms needed are included. Easy to follow, step by step.
What's not so great: have to pay extra for state efile, after paying additional fee to get federal & state forms

Easy to use

I've used this product for 5 years now and am very happy with the ease of use and places to click on if you aren't sure what they mean by that question.
What's great about it: I just started with a child taking college classes and it walked me through that new process for tax deductions.
What's not so great: Worry about being hacked and getting my information.

efile is a pain

I had to leave my computer on all night at the step waiting for a PIN number from the Turbo tax admin .. this is 1940's technologgy; waited 8 hours for office to open to complete the efile. Other products can validate a credit card online why can't turbo tax? I was surprised this hadn't been improved over last year's efile process.
What's great about it: none
What's not so great: having to stop for manual phone call / approval is a drag

Could use a little more on Charitible contribution

I have used Turbotax for years and years. I am very happy with it. It certainly drags you through all those convoluted forms like calculating what portion of your social security is taxible--can't we make it simpler, IRS?? My only complaint is Turbotax does not sort donations by amount. As a result, your tax return could list specifics on first nine donations that may be small and leave a huge donation under miscellaneous. I was audited with no changes a few years ago because Turbotax listed nine small donations totaling $2200 and showed miscellaneous donations of $17,000. Had they moved just two of those miscellaneous donation up the two numbers would have been reversed. If I were IRS I would have audited me as well. Inconvenient to have to photocopy an inch of back-up and send in. Could have been avoided with this yet NOT implemented change.
What's great about it: Great at doing all of those convoluted forms.
What's not so great: I would like to see the charitable donations sorted by amount

No drama this year

Worked great this year. The only glitch was unchecking estimated boxes during the final review and after a few tries checking and unchecking, it worked. Well done. Now that they are filed, hopefully no drama.
What's great about it: deluxe handled all my needs and it was EZ.
