Whisked me through with Ease!

I've got a long history with turbo tax........over 15 years and it continues to get better. It gets easier to use every year even though my/our returns have changed throughout the years - some years being more complicated than other years. I have even dry run a couple of other programs throughout the past 4 years, but have returned to Turbo Tax before filing each time.
I wish that there was an easy way to install multiple copies of the software easily on one computer system. We do taxes for multiple family members on one (primarily off line) system, but would really like to be able to have one installation for me, and one for each kid, which could be tailored to their individual home state or states depending upon the kid and the location they are attending school. Instead we end up with one main copy and no way to easily have multiple states that can be attached to specific users, instead all states "appear" as options for all users.
What's great about it: Straight forward, cuts to the chase, pretty good with basic family concerns
What's not so great: Wish that they could simplify tuition and multi state school related stuff

First time.

It's my first time doing my taxes and using tax software. It seemed daunting at first but the walkthrough option helped me out greatly. There were still some questions I didn't understand but I had help from family and figured them out. Aside from that, everything went pretty good. Definitely worth the money I paid.
What's great about it: Ease of use, lots of help, clear instructions.
What's not so great: Some questions seemed confusing.

Out of state filing - Tn

Directions say - you do not need to file for state of TN, click on skip state. That was not an option -- only options were "No
Thanks" and "Continue". I'm still not sure if I have completed properly but in order to file my KY and Federal Taxes, I opted to check the box "I do not wish to file TN right now" later on when I was finally able to get to that screen. I live in KY and worked in TN and had no interest or whatever the next option was paid to that state.

Not as good as last year

This version did not automatically fill in information from last year's return. Previously, old accounts came up for review to update only. This year, everything had to be filled in manually, including bank information. It therefore took longer.

What's not so great: Had a heck of a time trying to pay for extra states with credit card. Had to end up calling tech support to get it done
