Good Experience

Over all a great experience. Used Turbo Tax since I had a lot of odd forms to fill out this year due to a death in the family. This experience will mean I'll probably use it again next year.
What's great about it: Took about 4 hrs compared to about 24 hrs
What's not so great: A lot of typing in of forms

Easy, but kept freezing

I've used Turbo Tax for years and have never had an issue with it. For some reason this year, the program kept freezing. I'd have to force close and reopen. I restarted by computer twice thinking that was the problem.
What's great about it: Ease of use

Simple, safe and secure!

I have used TurboTax for the last 3 years, originally very fearful of completing them myself - however this program is phenomenal! I would recommend it to anyone who wants to save money and do your taxes in the comfort of your own home.
What's great about it: VERY easy, 3rd year of filing myself - love the step-by-step method
What's not so great: There are no cons

Could be better

I started to complete the forms and realized part way through that Turbotax was not linked to my last years forms. How about a clear statement before you start... Did you use Turbotax to complete 2014 taxes? I would have answered: Yes. Then Turbotax should go look for it. If it cannot find the directory, then it should allow you to find it for Turbotax. Then after locating the 2014 filing, it should give you assurance that Turbotax found it. My 2014 filings were on a thumb drive and I think that is why it missed finding it.
ALso, on IRA's. Make a clearer statement. There is some statement about did you plan to make an IRA contribution before April 15th. Write the question this way: Have you or do you plan to make a contribution to your 2015 IRA before April 15th?
What's great about it: I like the way the software keeps you updated on where you are at in completing the forms.
What's not so great: There could be a more clear way of linking to last years Turbotax completed forms.

Great Way To Do taxes

We have been using Turbo Tax for years and it seems to get easier and easier. We feel it is the most accurate and safest way to do our taxes.
What's great about it: Excellent walk through to get the most of your deductions. Easy to understand.
