Quick & Easy

Usually, our preparation of taxes takes a couple of days to complete, even with Turbo Tax. We've learned to keep records (for example on charitable donations) as they accumulate. That has helped. This year's filing time was about half the normal time expended in the past. Clear instructions and reference to definitions helps a lot.
What's great about it: Record transfer from last year's filing
What's not so great: Had to cross-check some items several times

The cost of the turbo tax program and then the fees attached for e-filing the returns is very high. It seems like the cost of the program should be enough.

What's great about it: Fast, easy, accurate
What's not so great: Not always sure I've considered everything

Turbo tax helped me file quickly and easily. The product helped by checking my previous years returns carrying over information to prevent reentry and recommending possible deductions. The error checking and audit risk factor checking are great features that provide peace of mind and help identify any possible issues with my return.
What's great about it: Carry over from previous years speeds up returns
What's not so great: Nothing for me
