Overcame the Pain

Been using Turbo Tax for years. No worries! Eliminates the travel and the many questions from someone else doing my returns and saves money!
What's great about it: Like Tax Returns for Dummies
What's not so great: Gathering before entering
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Difficult made simple

Tax codes are too complex and getting worse every year. TurboTax comes to the rescue

Problem with State

In filling NYS tax on the 1099-R I left the cents as shown on the form from the bank but when I tried to file it was rejected and it did not give a good answer until I looked at the work sheets and saw that it rounded off the cents. I went back and deleted the cents to the next hole dollar and they I was able to file my taxes. Eater you need you need to remind us to do it or you need to do it for us. Letting the number be one way on the eatery page and another way on the work sheets is a big problem. Fix it

What's not so great: On the state return you need to make sure you round off the cents because it keep rejecting me and it took some time to
