went really smoothly this year

Have used turbotax for years but this year it went better than in past. Print outs are much better than in the past.
What's great about it: transfers went well
What's not so great: city returns are problematic
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I like Turbo tax a lot, it makes my yearly tax preparation work much easier and cheaper. It has lots of help inside and very easy to navigate.
What's great about it: easy to use, lots of help
What's not so great: sometimes when there is error, the explanation is not enough

Last year, Turbo tax asked detailed information about my child. I did not qualify for many exceptions, however this year although i was going thru everything and it asked if i wanted to go step by step, it somehow skipped asking about my children. I kept wondering if it was going to take me to ask more about my children but it only did that at the end when I was scanning for errors.
What's great about it: liked that Tubo Tax tried to find a way to get more deductions
What's not so great: Only when scanning for errors it asked about my children

turbo tax errors

very frustrating trying to fix myself
What's great about it: very good overall
What's not so great: Mn form had a bug that prevented filing mn & fed returns electronically until turbo taxd was fixed
