Just some suggestions for improvement

I have used TurboTax for many years, and am very happy with the tool. There is still a problem that data doesn't copy properly from previous years for NYC residents, and I have to adjust each year. I also found the new UI for inserting pin numbers and signing the forms electronically was confusing.
What's great about it: Ease of use, and the abillity to pick what areas appply to me
What's not so great: Some problems with NYC residents, and Confusing UI for signing forms

Makes Filing a Breeze!

I use Turbo Tax every year to file my taxes because the software makes it so easy. My previous year's information is imported to the new return so that saves me time filling out the same things every year. The step-by-step instructions make life so simple and if I have any questions, on-line help is always available.

This year I had a terrible time trying to deal with a small error that prevented me from filing electronically. There should be the by-pass for this. There is also no phone help.

Have used TurboTax for filing my Federal and State income tax forms for several years. I like the fact that this method allows me to file electronically when I am ready to do so and offers an easy way to this at my own pace without leaving my home.

Simple and stress-free

I spent an hour using TurboTax to file my taxes; I needed to access my 2014 taxes for filing purposes. My iMac locked up and I had to force quit the program, which erased all of my work. Since I knew what docs were needed, round two went smoothly and I had no issues. The e-filing is simple and the notifications throughout the process is exceptional.
What's great about it: easy prompts for deductions
What's not so great: a calculator feature would be helpful

Finished in Plenty of Time

When I completed the CA state return, the program took me directly to the 2016 estimates. The Federal return did not do this. I loaded the Federal 1040 form and managed to bring up the estimated tax worksheet. This was sort of clunky. Also the program printed the Federal Schedule E even though there were no entries for 2015.
What's great about it: Guided entries were easy to use. The program was very fast.
What's not so great: I had to go to the Federal 1040 form to set up my 2016 estimates.
