Filing Without The Fuss

Finished federal and state filing quickly. Took me almost as long to get my computer connected to internet and Windows updated, since I don't use that device much anymore now that I'm an iPad user. Audit Defense is a great extra service with an expensive fee for peace of mind in having support for my filing.
What's great about it: Quick import of old info and detailed walk-through
What's not so great: Hard to find much negative

If I had known how easy and thorough TurboTax was to use, I would have used it sooner! I could have saved myself a lot of money over the years that I spent on a tax preparer.

I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years very good and easy to use. I wish the E-Filing for state was included in the cost of the program
What's great about it: Eazy to use
What's not so great: paying more to file my State Tax over the cost over program

Once it was unable to import my W-2 I could never figure out how to go back and have it try to import my spouse's W-2. I tried some of the suggestions and none of them worked.

Always a breeze to use

I enjoy using TurboTax every year since it gives you a nice interface for general overview of areas such as income and deductions and then lets you individually dive deep into those areas.
One thing that's gotten better but still needs some improvement is separation of federal and state taxes during the filing process. Since I mail my state in and e-file the fed. I have to select fed to e-file and 'do nothing' with state until I'm done, then revisit later. It's a mild inconvenience and if that's the worst thing I can come up with, I think this is a very good product.
What's great about it: Easy deep dive into specific areas, e.g. deductions
What's not so great: Fed/State tied at the hip during filing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Best ever experience. Only had one question and it was answered by past questions /answers with a search.
Highly recommend "Its deductible". I will be inputting 2015 donations soon as I donate a lot of stuff.
Do yourself a favor and collect everything as the year progresses and presort before the New Year so when you get the W-2 you are all set to do in one sitting like i did this morning..
