Can filing taxes get any easier?

I have been using TurboTax for several years and it keeps getting better. Doing my family's taxes isn't a chore. If there is a downside it's the necessary updates, which the programmers update as soon as they can. I trust the program and the people behind it and the stability on the Mac platform and would recommend it to anyone. You don't have to know anything about taxes to do your taxes. The program asks all the right questions.

I liked most of what I encountered, until I had to fill out the info on my driver's license info. It wasn't necessary last year and there was no explanation of it. I had to search for the answer.

I tried several times to go back to a "taxes paid" entry to make a slight correction to a previous entry - but could not do so.
What's great about it: Instructions are very well written
What's not so great: Couldn't go back to change an entry.

What's great about it: Answered all my questions, easy and simple to get through all the steps
What's not so great: nothing

Online Classes

I take online classes and my school is not in my state. The software would not accept a zip code out of my state as my school address..... This needs to be updated.

Outstanding Service From TT

I have used and recommended Turbo Tax through the years. It's an outstanding program and never had problem. this year I had some problems doing my family taxes. But I found that there is a Tech Support Dept. ready to assist. I was ready to go to a tax person. But decided to call the Turbo Tax Line. I'm very happy I did. I got an outstanding service from their Support Dept. Also, find out that if I will have the online version they can remote to my computer making it easier for me to see what"s wrong. Next year I will get my software directly from Turbo tax.

TT messed up!

TT made a few VERY SIMPLE errors that shouldn't have ever happened! I will NEVER use them again and will discourage all that I know to avoid them!
What's great about it: simple to use, but there's others that are better
What's not so great: not trustworthy....DO NOT USE
