SOME DIFFICULTIES THIS YEAR

WOULD NOT IMPORT PRIOR YEAR'S REPORTS.
WOULDN'T DOWNLOAD W2 INFORMATION ONLINE.
PREPAID, FEDERAL QUARTERLY TAX WAS NOT CLEARLY REQUESTED, AND THUS CAUSED CONCERN.

TurboTax Deluxe 2015

Been using TurboTax for several years and it makes tax preparation clean and simple. Just wish there was a simple built-in print screen function to capture some of the summary tax screens that the software will display (such as income summary and deductions summary.
What's great about it: Carries over previous years tax data, saves re-entering info
What's not so great: No simple print screen function built in
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TutboTax 2013+CA review

It was quicker to review my taxes than get my 1099-DIVs. I'll not embarrass the feds by telling you how many Gs they owed.
What's great about it: Fairly Easy

Cut the tax man's fee way down

I have used a professional tax preparer for years but file using Turbo Tax. My taxes are simpler now so I only use him to go over the return to be sure there are no omissions or errors. It is worth the money for him to come to my home and do the review.
I really like the automatic questions from Turbo Tax and It's Deductible.

Step-by-Step Refund

My husband and I have used TurboTax for the past three years. It's easy to use and understand and we feel like we are in control of the information that we enter. TurboTax asks about expenses that many people are unaware they can write off. I really like that we can do our taxes on our own time when we are ready. Also, everything is electronic and done for you. TurboTax is definitely worth a try and it's less expensive than having your taxes for you.
What's great about it: walks you through each section, easy to use, asks about unknown possible deductions
What's not so great: set aside a good chunk of time

Taxes Simplified

Turbo Tax has it down pretty good. I've been doing my own taxes for about 44 years. I've used TT since 2007 and it is at its best right now. No frustrations at all.
What's great about it: The interview process was easy to follow
What's not so great: No complaints
