2015 turbo tax

had issues with the information I entered showing up on the comparison charts. last years data showed up and 0 amounts were displayed for 2015 year. checked forms and the data was listed in the actual forms.
What's great about it: able to import documents into forms
What's not so great: software glitch on data display

Another good year w/Turbo

Once again Turbo tax has got me through another tax season, It take a lot of the headache out of doing taxes and keeps me from having to expose all my info to a total stranger.
What's great about it: Make it easy and fast
What's not so great: none here

I have used Turbo Tax every year since you started (I think). It gets more complicated every year. The first few years it was much easier to use.
What's great about it: Does a decent job

Turbo Tax

This kit gives the regular tax payer a chance to have a hands on approach to a very complicated income tax reporting system. It also provides the extra working forms that one would have to make special provisions for obtaining. The online information for Customer Service is also another plus factor.
What's great about it: Short, specific questions.
What's not so great: Lack of upfront list of information to collect.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Frustrating Detail

I am a retired professor who receives small royalty checks for works I wrote several years ago. I do not have a current business or a home office. However, the program assumes I do and will not let me file my return until I complete detailed forms.
What should I do?
What's great about it: Most details of how to enter data are excellent (easy to follow and accurate)
What's not so great: One detail (how I can enter royalty data without claaiming a home office) was frustrating.

The absolute best way to file your taxes.
What's great about it: Quick, easy, walks you through everything, cheaper than those So called "Pros"
