2015 Returns

As I stated above, I have used TT for years and have never really had any issues. However, and it could just be me, the printing of the documents and corresponding directions were a bit cumbersome and hard to figure.
What's great about it: Ease of use. Have used for years without any issues.
What's not so great: The end - when trying to determine what to print, etc. The directions are a bit cumbersome to print easily.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's great about it: Easy to use, especially once you have done it once because the information is picked up.
What's not so great: Sometimes a bit unintuitive how to navigate certain areas.

Deluxe version restored to prior standards

Although I was thoroughly disgusted with Intuit's sleazy behavior and lousy customer service last year, I reluctantly came back for another try. To my great surprise I was 100% satisfied with the 2015 Deluxe edition. I had read some very negative reviews about installing on a Mac and the cost of state filing but found none of these negative reviews to be true. I am not a big Intuit fan, but this year's Turbo Tax was very, very good!
What's great about it: Easy to install, use and understand

The ease of use is incredible and explanation of fields are great. I have been using Turbo Tax for a number of years and am confident my taxes are done accurately.

What's not so great: more access to the individual forms when necessary

requiring drivers license for e filing is very short sighted!!!!!
Many people do not have drivers licenses, either because they no longer drive or never had a drivers license at all. Additionally in my case - my drivers license is from Germany and is not listed in your drop down choices. However I still had my old American military drivers license and that it what I used. Since I have retired from the US Military - That drivers license can not be renewed or extended.
What's not so great: The drivers license info required for e filing is very short sighted.

I filed my state tax and while filling it out, selected March 1st for payment, but then I decided to see what would happen if I used the tax date - when I revisited state (NC), it added $5 interest and I didn't have the opportunity to change the date, so don't know why it didn't charge interest the first time through, but did the 2nd time through.
Turbo tax is great if you don't have to go back and change anything, but on occasions I've had to, it's been confusing.
What's great about it: easy
What's not so great: payment confusing

Generally, a good experience and as usual the Turbotax was user-friendly
The only problem I had with the TurboTax was when I had to update it, an error got into the program.
Fortunately all I had to do to fix Turbotax was uninstall it and reinstall it.

What's great about it: Ease of filling out forms, ease of stepping through the various parts and look at them individually. Able to reinstall.
What's not so great: Updates initially caused an error. However, it was easily remedied
