Awesome, easy to use product.

Not very user friendly to enter modified 1098 forms based on IRS Publication 936 - Home Mortgage Interest Deduction. There should be an additional option to enter the amount calculated if you had to use Pub 936 rather than just the precise amounts shown on 1098 forms received from lenders. And then when you compile the detailed return for the taxpayer's records it should show the 936 calculations in some format.
What's great about it: ease of use
What's not so great: not complete for complex situations

I have been using Turbo Tax since 1996 and almost enjoy doing my taxes because it's so easy! Almost.
What's great about it: easy to use, accurate
What's not so great: none that I can think of

Got me a good refund

I have used TurboTax for about 10 years now. It is fairly user friendly, better than what I was using before. I like how I can navigate around and work on different things even when I have not received all my tax information. I thought that the e-filing process was very cumbersome but eventually it worked.
What's great about it: Loads last years data, lets me do what I want to work on
What's not so great: Sometimes too many extra questions

It took me 2 1/2 hours (only because I had to call my bank and my husband about a couple of things) and I had everything done. Great refund! I am so happy.
What's great about it: It just took me through each page
What's not so great: The worksheets weren't that bad

I've used TurboTax for the past fifteen years and I've never been disappointed with the ease of use or the ability to cover all areas applicable to my tax returns. The electronic filing is a definite plus.
What's great about it: Ease of use and broad topic range
What's not so great: none applicable to this use of TurboTax

One thing you can trust in your life

As the tech progress, the user interface does not change significantly. It is still functional to meet your tax need, but the user interface can be more alive or vivid.
What's great about it: Cover all the tax areas that I believe all the people need
What's not so great: User interface can be improved
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great for a Retiree!

I have been using Turbo Tax for 20+ years. It has walked me through joint filing with my wife's self-employment, lease income from of my aircraft, consulting income & expenses, and now income & losses from investments. I really appreciate the detailed information available in "Learn More" links, and I have great confidence in the way the documentation is handled and the amount of my refunds. It is a robust tool and I will continue to use it!
What's great about it: Clear, step by step instructions and explanations
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
