more trouble than ever before

Never problems filing in the past, this year was VERY frustrating. Deductibles could not be added by entry; retired this year and could not upgrade for more savings (?); had to phone in to pay e-filing fee. I have never been more relieved to get this over with. HUMBUG, I SAY!!!
What's great about it: I got my return filed
What's not so great: It's Deductible wouldn't work; could not upgrade to Premier; could not pay e-filing.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

easy to you

no issues. easy even if you aren't the most tech savvy person. be nice if the app versions were easier to understand and use.
What's great about it: easy to use, helpful. guaranteed accuracy and audit defense is good stuff.
What's not so great: sometimes poor wording can be confusing, app version difficult to use if you're not used to similar tech or with apps

A pleasure to use in a complex accounting task

Since 2012, we have used Turbo Tax as the tool to confidently deal with this complex and ever changing area of accounting. We have three Schedule Cs,a large number of charity contributions including Form 8283, and two Forms 8863. These were handily addressed by this well established software. Great job! Thanks and blessings.
What's great about it: Level of detail available.
What's not so great: Some areas were difficult to follow from step to form methods.

Great Tax Software

We've used Turbotax since it first came out. We love it. Turbotax has always nailed the federal return process. Now they are getting the state return process to the same point. The state return process provides much better assistance as you complete the state returns than in prior years. Keep up the great work!
What's great about it: Technically accurate. Functionality for completing returns is excellent.
What's not so great: Printing could be improved (too much navigating back and forth) but this does not represent a reason not to buy it.

Simplified a complicated year

I've used Turbo Tax for several years and find it guides me through the Federal return quite well. However this year we moved to Colorado and the guidance for part-year resident wasn't as intuitive - in fact it kept asking me to complete items that were not defined. I'm going to have to get the state instructions and forms and complete it manually.
What's great about it: Guides you through the steps to complete your return
What's not so great: CO state return assistance not as complete
