Software better than the IRS

Thanks to poor security in Fed & State my SS number was hacked and used on a false return last year and still dealing with it a year later. our SS system needs a major security overhaul.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Sometimes would be nice to explain the error codes

I've been using Turbo Tax for years. And it never fails to amaze me how easy it is. It walks you through every possibility. it runs checks. And efiling with followup statuses is so easy.

Fast, and Easy Filing this year!

I would recommend everyone filing their taxes using Turbo Tax. I only took a short time to file Federal and State and double checked all my entries. I am very happy. Will be using Turbo Tax again next year to file.
What's great about it: Easy, step by step. Turbo Tax walked me through every step.
What's not so great: No Cons!!!

2015 tax

I live in France and don't feel all the bases were covered for expat's. My tax was simple but I wasn't asked enough questions to feel comfortable about my return.

Easy to use and secure

It's super easy to use. My only question was that I contributed to my grand children's 529 education fund and it wasn't clear what do to with that information. Turns out it's only good on the state form.
What's great about it: secure
What's not so great: had trouble getting info about 529 account
