Cheapskate efile policy

Turbotax delivers a solid platform to do taxes with for the laymen user. Problem is predatory marketing on the cover of the case. Most software products I've used that include state prep will include one e file with it. Turbotax separated prep and e file on the cover of the case which mislead me into believing I could efile my first state return for free. Pretty terrible to not be transparent about that. Instead, there is just left out details that average people like myself, frequently miss. Delayed return expected for state.
What's great about it: easy to use, quick
What's not so great: state prep but no free first state efile

another great year with TurboTax

This is our 16th or 17th year (i think) with using Turbotax (we itemize our deductions), with the exception of 2013, every year seems to get easier. I did not need support, so I do not know if that is easier to access than it was a few years ago. It is so easy to use. With all my docs assembled ahead of time, I was done in about 35 minutes. Thanks!
What's great about it: loved improved import functions and updated ACA screens
What's not so great: zero!!!

Quite Painless!

An enjoyable (OK - I'd rather be getting a root canal than doing the dreaded tax return!) evening spent at the computer, made that way by this program.
I've used Turbo Tax for many years now, and the anticipation is much worse than the actual experience . . .
What's great about it: easy to follow - will "lead you by the nose"
