Surprise Ending

The above says it all.
What's great about it: Entering the tax data was easy.
What's not so great: Too much other junk when you get to the final filing. All the extra consent forms and stuff.

More explanation on my above Con: My wife's benefits, she receives from her father, were 1099-R and also her State Retirement 1099-R. These were combined in the summary as IRA's and didn't understand why?
What's great about it: I'm done! And is was able to complete it in a reasonable amount of time.
What's not so great: The section on IRA's and 1099R need more explanation than was given.

Been Using For Years. Very Good But...

But...I don't have anything to compare TurboTax with becasue I don't use other software. Hard to say that I'm getting the best refund or the best options. That said....still a very good product.
Next year I plan to use two tax software tools to see how they compare.
What's great about it: Quick and easy. Gets better every year.

Simple to do

I've filed with Turbo Tax for so many years now that I would be afraid to use any other method of filing. It is so simple and easy to complete and efiling is fantastic!
What's great about it: All questions include explanations of what is needed
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I love Turbo Tax

I'll continue to use and recommend TurboTax to friends, family and co-workers.
What's great about it: Very thorough and easy to work through. I've been using TT for over 15 years now.
What's not so great: Had issues downloading updates this year. Not common. I had to pull in a manual update download.

turbo tax

I am still unsatisfied with 2014 when filed had to get the audit protection couldnt seem to get around it. With much time, effort and frustration I tried to get a refund for it but never did. Still angry about that.
What's great about it: fairly simple

disgusted!!!!

I had more problems with this program than I ever have!!! I am truly disgusted my family wasn't able to use all 5 of the e-files. the returns kept getting rejected, with returns that had no errors, when deductions were calculated for mileage it reduced my refund rather than added to it, .. there were multiple problems Im considering using another software this year and from now on! even tried to use turbo tax online, the refund was different and it kept trying to charge me for audit defense after I keep removing it!

What's not so great: this year it was just awful!!
