Did not transfer all data from 1099 div from Oppenheimer funds.

What's not so great: did not transfer last years taxes! Windows 8.1 then windows 10 now.

things went good , till !

everything went well till it came time to e-file , then you get hit again . the price to e-file is way to much seeing that you already paid a good amount for the TurboTax in the first place . the cost gets to be more and more every year . I may have to rethink using it next year .

For the most part I was very pleased with the software and my filing experience. However, entering charitable donations took longer than it needed to--if I could have alphabetized the list imported from the previous years return it would have sped up the process. In addition, once a charity's name has been entered it cannot be edited; only deleted and re-entered, even though the amount can be edited.
What's great about it: importation of data from prior year, ability to skip sections not needed.
What's not so great: Entering charitable donations is awkward

I have been using Turbo tax for several years, especially the online version. You can avoid installing on your computer and avoid having too many programs on it. So far I never had a problem. Hopefully not this time too.
What's great about it: Easy to use, guides you through detailed steps if needed
