Pleased with refund

Have used Turbo Tax for 15 years and for the most parts are satisfied with it. As I indicated it would be easier if could address a certain subject & be able to go there, rather that having to open a return.
What's great about it: Easy to understand instructions
What's not so great: No always easy to navigate. Can not pick a specific are & get info unless working on that section
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I have been use Turbo Tax for the last 10 years. I will keep using it. It guides you through all the parts.

When we reviewed our tax due increased by $2224 because we didn't see where to check the box that we had health insurance all year. Found it difficult to correct.
What's great about it: Better each year and didn't over charge this year.
What's not so great: fed review did not show we had health insurance all year

Not being able to access Schedule A was frustrating for me, because I used to itemize deductions. I wanted to be able to see it for myself, and compare it to what TT wanted me to do, which was to take the standard deduction. I thought that we were able to print it in previous years.
Turbo Tax did a fine job guiding me along, though. Some tax issues are very complicated and it is great to be able to rely on TT to get it all in the right places. The improvements in entering Charity deductions made it easier this year, too.
What's great about it: Helps with complicated calculations, and where to put the figures.
What's not so great: Because I ended up taking standard deduction, Schedule A was not on MY list of forms to compare.

2 Small Problems

Oregon file-by-mail instructions do not mention that Schedule OR-ASC and federal Form 1040 must be included with Oregon form 40.
TurboTax raised an error flag on Schedule D apparently (as well as I could figure out) because Date Acquired was imported as "Various". I got past that then had an item on an associated worksheet flagged because it contained "L" but had to be changed to blank. A clue as to what was wrong would have been nice. (Sorry I can't be more specific; I can't recreate the error.)

Very easy to use and loved being able to efile my taxes from the convenience of my home. I would recommend using turbo tax. I purchased the deluxe edition and was so easy to install and use.

simplifies tax prep

Please allow printing of reports generated during input that are not now available.
What's great about it: Used for years and don't have to enter personal data each year.
What's not so great: Cannot print screen. Would be good for review and analysis.

My only concern is the first rejection for a mistyped number which was different from what was imported from last year and not picked-up by the program. it was corrected after being rejected by IRS, but it should have been flagged for review.
