This is the first time I have tried to do my own taxes. This is my 3rd taxes after being a widow. Now that things are a bit more straightforward for me if feels good to be able to do things on my own. I love the step by step instructions and how everything is taken care of one at a time so nothing is overwhelming, ever. These big tax companies charge 2 or 3 times the fee to basically type your information in their own software that works the same as TurboTax. Thanks for watching out for us "normal people" who work hard for our money!
What's great about it: Step by step with detailed information throughout the entire process
What's not so great: A few items were a bit vague and took a little looking into
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

this is about my 10th year using turbo tax. I would use no other!!
What's great about it: Don`t know why anybody would pay big money to have their taxes done. your program makes it so easy!!!
What's not so great: none

I've been using Turbo Tax for more years than I care to remember. Never a disappointment or problem The software walks one through every possible situation..
What's great about it: Easy to use, accurate and timely
What's not so great: The "Learn More" screens are in too small a print

Great Tech

I've been using turbo tax back to when you guys didn't even have electronic filing, when we had to send it through the mail. I love the way it has evolved into probably the most progressive home tax software there is. I've turned on quite a few of my co workers to it, and they in turn have done the same. Word of mouth is the best promotion. Keep up the good work. And maybe you guys can do something about having to buy the entire software year after year (maybe have an annual update at a slightly lesser cost). Anyway like I said, you guys are the best software out.
What's great about it: Simplicity. Quickly done. No loose ends.
What's not so great: Having to re-purchase the entire software each year.

Everything was fine until I tried to pay with credit card and it would not accept info. After several tries we got it with a phone call. Too much time wasted. It didn't even recognize my name from previous year.

i always have to call on something. i saw the commercial on TV and I thought it was going to be that easy it was not! I have been using Turbotax since they have been making it, I do like it better than paper!
What's great about it: some things are easy i have used since they started
