WONDERFUL PRODUCT!

I am not a computer whiz by any stretch of imagination but have been using Turbo Tax for about 15 years or more. It has always be so easy--they just walk me thru the process.
This year I forgot my password and had to call the help line. What a nice surprise--got right thru, and the man that helped me was so patient and helpful. He stayed with me until everything was fixed. Thank you Turbo Tax, I cannot praise your company enough!

Love TurboTax!

I've been using TurboTax since 2009 and every year it just gets easier. The amount of money I have saved since I started doing my own taxes instead of paying someone to do them for me is substantial. Thanks Intuit!!

Good product

If you have not foreign income this is a great program and I have been using Turbo Tax since 1997 and have rated it as 5 star. But since 2008 I have had to just use it to calculate my income and deductions on my US income. Then I had had to fudge the numbers to add my foreign income and foreign taxes paid. Turbo Tax has added some types of Canadian income to the program but does not address pension income from a Canadian company.
What's great about it: Easy of navigation and speed to get your taxs filled out and filed.
What's not so great: Does not address all types of foreign income.

Got the Job Done

Overall the program does a good job. I would like to see better help for the state section and not have to file by mail because a form is not included. It recognized that I could not file electronically for the state but then offered to file it electronically - its should know that.
What's great about it: Imports last years, easy to input information
What's not so great: State is weak as are some non-typical areas in Federal

Paying What's Due

Turbo tax has served us well for a number of years. When things got really complicated a few years ago, we did abandon ship and have them done by a 'professional'. We were just too unsure of ourselves to continue. Once things got relatively simple again there is no reason to spend hundreds on a 'professional', when Turbo Tax works so well.
We especially like the comparison with Last Years Taxes as we go along. It made us go back and make sure we didn't forget things we have deducted in the past. Then we printed our review copy before E-filing and found a comparison of the last 5 years. Really an interesting sheet, and something our 'professional' never provided.
Will definitely use it again next year.
We recommend it to everyone we talk to about Taxes.
