great program. ive been using turbo tax for the past 5 years. love the red flags it alerts you to if there is a deduction that is questionable. the explanations are simple and easily understood. takes me about 2 hours to do my taxes with itemized deductions.
What's great about it: explains EVERYTHING
What's not so great: cant think of anything

The most irritating experience is when Form 1099-OID popped up for the first time. I never got this in past years. Not sure why it asked us for the information because none of our tax forms indicated we had an "Original issue discount for 2015." It wouldn't let me move ahead until I figured out that all I needed to do was entry "0"
What's great about it: Relative ease
What's not so great: Medical questions regarding Medicare/Medicade confusing

I have been using turbotax for 16 years. It is easy and I have always found the appropriate advice and answers as my life has changed and tax situation has changed. No negatives!
What's great about it: Easiest way to file taxes even for someone without tax knowledge

Easy to do

I use to dread tax time, but it really easy to do. I like how they walk through step by step, and if you forgot something you can go back and fix it easy enough. I also like the rating for the chances for getting auditing.
What's great about it: Liked how it was straight forward and walked you through everything
What's not so great: No free State e-filing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

the process was quite easy and complete. easy to understand, except for the entry of the health care exemption.
What's great about it: very complete
What's not so great: health care exemption entry was hard to find

State refund complications

As a senior citizen on medicare I am not required to have a state insurance provider for my tax return but I could not file the return without an insurance carrier id number.
What's great about it: Easy to walk through federal form
What's not so great: Would not allow filing of state refund because of health ins. glitch
