So EASY!

I have used Turbo tax since I was 18. I am 38 now. It's easy and user friendly.
What's great about it: Step by step on what to do
What's not so great: that it keeps taking back to review-wish it would just keep going to the next section

this is the first time buying the software for turbo tax and i'm glad that i picked turbo tax and not the other guys.
I was able to complete the entire return with 1 1/2 hours. we are happy and will definitely be getting it next year.

Good way to file taxes

Overall, it is a great program to file Federal taxes with every year. It takes some patience entering some items, like form1099, form 1098, etc. but deleting and reentering them works every time. Filing on line is a quick and painless process. Just be sure to click on the blue outlined prompts to print forms, etc. and everything will be strait forward .
We have been using the product for the last fifteen years and still find it the best on the market.
What's great about it: It allows you to file and review your tax forms before filing
What's not so great: Getting some of the fixes to edit properly

Anyone can do it!

Turbo Tax is easy and comprehensive. The only fault I've found is when Turbo Tax finds an error, it is not clear where the error is and you have to guess where the error is. It would be much easier to understand if after identifying the error, Turbo Tax would take you to the page that needs correcting, instead of just identifying the form and line number.
What's great about it: Very easy, yet all the details are covered
What's not so great: Can't find errors

Easy Filing!

I always download the Deluxe Federal & State + Federal E-File version. This version allows me to e-file my state taxes also for free. Used TurboTax for the past 10 years and when I downloaded the 2015 software and I enter some basic information, that I am guided through, my W-2 is filled in. And the rest is easy.
What's great about it: All my prior year information is copied over making it easier to file.
What's not so great: No cons

What's great about it: Easy to Follow Step-by-Step Walk Through of Everything; Detailed Entries Only Where Needed; Allows Itemized Inputs
What's not so great: When fixing entries, have to go through entire section.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Don't change a thing Turbo guru's!

When Turbo Tax decided to "helpfully" remove many of the consumer "tools" at the cost of the loyal users, I felt "forced" to go with the competiton (for a brief moment). When I say "brief" it was b/c I actually began that other tax software and its format was so foreign to me after I had used Turbo forever! The Turbo Tax format is logical and is organized in the way a person might use popular speadsheet/financial software.
I do wish that their software was a little cheaper, but I understand that pink unicorns and raining lolipops is actually not possible in this reality... for the majority of adults :)
Please do not attempt to "slim down" this software!

What's great about it: This year's version appears to be "intact" and there is nothing missing for the client !
What's not so great: if entered & made error in chariatable organization name-must delete & start over...
