Have used TT for many years now and moved back to full computer version after a couple years with the on-line product. I like the ability to view forms in the forms menu that allows me to visualize the difference between years and that I have covered all my basis. Will utilize the TT product as long as my brain will allow.
What's great about it: Easy to use, accurate and detailed
What's not so great: None, just a knowledge of basic taxes and persistence

A good product for users with little knowledge or a lot of knowledge. Easy to use. I would say that it might be better if a better analysis could be done of prior year returns to see patterns so that the interview can be more guided and eliminate unnecessary questions.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: a little too many questions for the interview when the return has been done every year for past 5 years.

I love Turbo Tax...used them for years. This year was weird because I now have a college age daughter, so I didn't know if I still claimed her as a dependent or not...However, on first filing, I was rejected because I did claim my daughter when I shouldn't have. When I went back to fix it, I got charged AGAIN for a re-file...so I am upset about this...... But I love how Turbo Tax is so awesome at walking me through all the steps so I can feel empowered and do my taxes myself. That is huge for me. It is not hard to do taxes at all! Thanks for providing such a great software.
What's great about it: Fast and very clear

multistate confusion

I am very confused about the Arkansas state tax return since I don't live there and have not had to pay taxes from my income from an S-Corporation there. The TurboTax error review asked me questions on how to fill certain boxes in the Arkansas return that I was totally unclear on. So, I don't feel that I got a good value or help regarding the Arkansas State Tax filing.
What's great about it: Federal and Michigan returns were easy
What's not so great: Arkansas state return was confusing at best.

Easy to use but forces you through some steps whether or not you want to calculate some items, example - app forces you to go through deductibles even if you know you don't have enough to itemize.
What's great about it: Easy to use

Had some difficulty

In home office section, there should be a page to list out all the expenses made. I was unable to go back and edit an item, so I had to delete the entire section and redo it. I am still not sure if my tax refund has calculated that section correctly.
