Even I can do it!

After my divorce, I took my taxes to a CPA to do for me and paid way too much! It was my youngest daughter who told me that she did her taxes using TurboTax and how easy it is.
I bought my first TurboTax a few years ago and have been using it ever since. So simple even I can do it!

What's great about it: I love that it takes me step by step and explains everything along the way.
What's not so great: no cons at this time

Easy to Use

This is the 4th year I have used Turbo Tax. I just find it easy to follow. The software guides you through each step of the way.
What's great about it: Walk through each step of the forms with help if needed

If only all software was this good! Turbo Tax has helped me for years. I can't imagine life without it.

What's not so great: Takes a bit long to install

I'm back!!

Last year I decided not to purchase the Turbo Tax software, and used a less comprehensive web based program which was difficult to navigate, understand, and I made a very large error on my submitted tax return.
What's great about it: Loved the comprehensive, easy to navigate software.
What's not so great: Nothing.

Keep charging for every individual feature

They try to sell you on every other screen including for the submission of state taxes
What's great about it: I technically sent my taxes

This 2015 program was a little more confusing than the 2014 program.
What's great about it: Easy to use

Nickel & Diming

I don't like Intuit "nickel and diming" the consumer that doesn't have income property, but might have an IRA being charge to buy premier.
I decided not to upgrade and not do an IRA, but was almost forced to upgrade to only find out I make too much to benefit from IRAs because I cannot get my IRA deduction
