Difficult

I have had difficulty with the State efiling process. Will have to make a call tomorrow about getting a refund on my VISA for my State return and guess I'll have to mail it since turbo tax doesn't recognized that I paid and just loops me around for another payment.
What's great about it: step by step was great
What's not so great: paid for my State efile, my VISA was charged, efile didn't happen

Makes filing so much easier!

Prior to TurboTax I was paying a significant amount to have a professional prepare my return. It was always frustrating waiting for the preparer to get it done. I often waited weeks to get the information and have the return efiled. TurboTax double checks everything I enter and I'm confident it is correct. I have so much control over when it's filed.
What's great about it: TurboTax walks me through every thing I need to do.

Good but...

I do really like Turbo Tax. It is easy to use and very understandable. The only problem we ran into this year was there was next to no guidance in the tuition/scholarship section. There needs to be clear step by step guidance in how to deal with different types of scholarships, grants etc. I was left finishing the process with knots in my stomach because I still wasn't sure everything had been accounted for properly.
What's great about it: I really like Turbo Tax and find most of the guidance to be very good. It is easy to use.
What's not so great: The tuition/scholarship section needs more guidance prompts. It really doesn't give you enough info/instructions.

Turbo Tax VERY EASY

TURBO TAX ROCKS! It was our first time using the software and not only was it easy to install, but, any time we had a question about a deduction or a credit, a pop up box would answer it. Thanks TURBO TAX.
What's great about it: click and point boxes
What's not so great: didn't know all the answers to all of the questions
