It took me way too long to find out how to correct what I needed to. Filing took too long
What's great about it: my refund
What's not so great: how long it took me to correct something (approx 1.5 hour...I was not aware of the error until I was all ready to e-file

Some instructions are geared to what 'most people do', and if I didn't the instructions were lacking

I have been a turbo tax user since the late 90's. Couldn't imagine it any other way. Just wish they could organize my receipts for me and it would be totally effortless!
What's great about it: intuitive, good work flow
What's not so great: means I have to sit down and organize my receipts

Love TurboTax - and ability to import prior year information upfront of entering new year's data.
The import step didn't quite capture everything this year, for some reason. For several years, I've been pulling forward the points not reported on my Form 1098, since they are amortized over a 30 year period...I had to go back and manually enter the information in the worksheet form for mortgage interest deductions - and may had missed this, except I saw a difference in my year to year comparison and remembered this aspect. Shook my faith a bit, but luckily, I don't have very complex taxes and am careful in checking details prior to actually filing! Everything else worked great.

Entering, and uploading data was great and very simple. I have used Turbo Tax for over 8 years now and am very comfortable with it. I do like the improvements. I was unable to enter a credit card number for any of my upgrades.. I called the support desk because the help online did not answer my question. i appreciated the help from your staff, I don't know her name but she spent an hour with us today. She provided us with downloads and stayed on the phone until everything worked. She deserves recognition. Thank you
What's great about it: Staff phone support
What's not so great: Difficulty in adding payment credit card
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
