Easy to Use

I have used turbo tax for several years and have always found it relatively easy to use. I have recommended to many and have had positive feed back.
What's great about it: easy to use, thorough in explanations, error check, online filing
What's not so great: Not sure with all the sales the I see if my outo renewal is a good value

Consistently Pleased

I have been an avid TT user for decades. While my pleasure with some other Intuit products has diminished over time (Quicken...) I continue to be pleased with TT. I don't anticipate using any other product or method for completing my taxes in the future.
What's great about it: Enjoy the overview zooming to the detail. Very useful.
What's not so great: I go through my input process 2 or 3 times to verify the integrity of my data entry. Preserved options would help.

I have been using TurboTax for approximately 18 years now. I am by no means a "tax professional", but I feel comfortable doing my taxed myself because I have extreme confidence that if I follow the "interview" checklists, my taxes will be correct and I will get the largest refund possible. I have had various 'tax scenarios' over the years and each time, I just had to answer some questions to get resolution. The import feature is also great - don't have to worry about invalid entries due to keying errors. I will continue to use this product.
What's great about it: Thorough, accurate
What's not so great: filing costs keep going up
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Turbo Tax is VERY easy to use. I highly recommend Turbo Tax as an alternative to more expensive accountants or tax preparation companies.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: None. It's excellent!

Need more visibility

It seems that each year there is less and less visibility of the actual information / data that is entered on the official IRS forms. It would be really nice to see the values that are entered in the IRS forms appear in another window as they are entered in the interview forms and pages.
What's great about it: TurboTax makes it relatively easy for a non-tax-expert to handle modestly complex tax returns.
What's not so great: The user has to trust that the information entered is handled properly

I've used TurboTax ever since it first came out. Can't even imagine using any other tax prep. software!
What's great about it: Gets easier to use every tax year!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great product. Makes filing taxes easy and simple.
What's great about it: Clear, simple, easy.
What's not so great: Wasn't always sure I'd completed a section. Would have to go back to make sure I didn't miss anything
