Simple Tax Returns

I have been using Turbo Tax for years now and I love the way it puts in prior years info. Very easy to follow step by step.
What's great about it: Goes thru each type of deduction...found some I might not have thought of
What's not so great: Flag's are a little confusing

Found it even easier to use. Added security helped with confidence that return will not be stolen by identity thieves.

Great Tax Preparation Product

I have been using TurboTax since 2001 and find it to be the easiest and simplest way for a person to do their own taxes. You do not need to hire or pay a professional-Turbotax does that for you.
I also get the Audit Defense and thankfully I only needed it once! When I got the letter from the IRS that said I owed money back from my return I was shocked and concerned. I sent everything to Turbotax Audit Defense and they found the error (mine) and when it was said and done I owed nothing and they handled all contact with the IRS!
What's great about it: Easy to Use and Follow Instructions

Always Use TurboTax

Turbo Tax is what I use every year. It is simple and well-presented. For my situation (W-2 and a few very common deductions and 1099-DIV / 1099-INT), Turbo Tax allows me to fill out my taxes quickly. It also eliminates the chance of arithmetic errors.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Safe and fast. Familiar with software because I've used it for many years.
What's not so great: Why can't state e-file charges be included in price?

Taxes - Getting Harder Each Year

I have used Turbo Tax since its DOS version. It has become more complete, almost to an annoyance but I wouldn't switch. I am able to easily move through what I need by skipping the auto-interview feature; after years of use this is the most productive for me. I like the link to "Its Deductible" and have found the work around for those items not covered by the offered lists; a link to EBay from the included lists would be nice. Don't like that I have to 'move up' to regain my old features of Schedule D transactions. This former feature of Deluxe should still be there; most middle Americans have some Sch D activity. Also found that the "Help" on the Interview never took me anywhere; it just sat and spun. Had to use the "Help" on the banner to get answers. Overall a good product I have recommended to others.
What's great about it: Doesn't seem to miss anything for the regular user
What's not so great: 'Bugs' & 'Omissions' in the SW that would make life easier if fixed.
Pros: I bought or sold investments, I moved
