Easy Return!

I love this program and have been using for years!
What's great about it: It does it all.

I recommend Turbo Tax to everyone I know..We have been doing our own taxes for years and we only use Turbo tax!!! Love it..

It's Done

If you can read and answer questions you are in pretty good shape. It is important to have your records to be able to answer questions.
What's great about it: Step by step instructions, and a real person to talk to if you need help.
What's not so great: One step an entry generated by the program, goes back to adjust a figure. Could not figure this out and had to call.

Quick and Easy

Over all very easy to complete. Easy to understand questions with help available when needed to further explain. Ability to "flag" the page you were working on and come back to it later was a great addition to this years software.
What's great about it: Easy to understand questions and format
What's not so great: Paying for e-file of state return

I was caught in a change password loop. It kept recycling into my email, change password, link expired, change password, link expired-seven times. I just abandoned it, and started a new return. Only poor experience I had with software.
What's great about it: Easy-Self Explanatory
What's not so great: Could not retrieve last year (2014) taxes

Multiple states proved more complicated

We were part year residents in both Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. It was difficult to determine how to adjust total Federal Income values so that they would show up properly on the different state tax forms. This sometimes required going through all of the "easy step" questions multiple times for both states to try to figure out where adjustments needed to be made. The internet provided copies of the part year tax form instructions for the particular states that were needed to determine where the correct information had to be entered, but this was not easily accomplished using just the "easy Step" questions for the individual states. The federal questions are much better organized.
What's great about it: Transferred information from prior years and from federal to state returns
What's not so great: Had to look up specific state instructions to determine how to divide income properly between states.
