Excellent Tax prep product

5th year using, couldn't be more satisfied. I have fairly simple returns, one employer, mortgage, typical deductions. Low cost to assure even the math is correct. Never had a problem.
What's great about it: Reasonably priced. Easy to use. Auto loads prior years.
What's not so great: None

Pros vs Cons

I have used HR Block at home or Turbo Tax to do my own taxes over the past several years. While both are fairly easy to use Turbo gets a nod from me as you can choose to answer questions to help guide you in preparing your return versus direct entry of your information. I would recommend one small change and that is to have a live chat with a tax pro feature available (does not need to be 24/7) in case you have questions as sometimes even if you use the answer question route you may need more guidance.
What's great about it: Main pro is it fairly user friendly and you can prepare using a detailed answer questions route or a direct entry route
What's not so great: Con - Should have a live chat feature available during some days or hours.

worked well had trouble w/review till I figured it out. Saw a spot to enter Auto Ins medical portion but it was not there in review, so did not enter

I have used Turbo Tax for many years now with great success. It gets easier each year. I have never had an issue and plan to continue to use Turbo Tax in the years to come.
What's great about it: Step by step help along the way.
What's not so great: More specific job information about deductions could he helpful

I have consistently used your product over the years. I find it easy to use. I used Taxcut one year and did not like as the navigation was harder.
What's great about it: How simple the questions are.

Disappointed in new fees

It was disappointing that one free state had been removed with regards to completing state taxes. Now in addition to having to pay to complete the state tax there also are fees for filing. There was no documentation which shared that information prior to being half-way through using the software.
What's not so great: Having to pay for all state taxes

it was a bit hard and it felt like at the end I was charged a penalty fee for doing my taxes on my own that wasn't fair :(

Can only speak to the fact that I've used TT 11 years now, and even though we have a relatively simple set of tax issues, the TT software does remove most of the anxiities of filing.
