I've used Turbo Tax for years. It's worth the money to get through the tax filing process with ease. My questions were answered easily. It's basically just fill in the blanks.
What's great about it: If you can read and follow instructions, it's a breeze to do your taxes.

529 distributions remain difficult
on February 20, 2016

the instructions for calculating the taxable portion of 529 plan distributions remain difficult. In particular, it is not clear why the program appears to default to an amount of $10,000 at line 17 of the Student Information Worksheet, Part VI--Education Expenses, Adjustments, rather than the maximum value of $4,000 for use with the American Opportunity Credit.
It took me a couple of hours of rather unproductive research to determine that $4,000 was the correct value for that line.

I've used turbotax for several years, and have to say that it is easier this year, however the wording could still be a little better. Regardless, I do still plan to use it again next year.
What's great about it: quick and easier
What's not so great: Wording could be clearer

The Good, the Bad, the Ugly

It is easy to e-file the federal return. Not a problem. The problems come in when you don't wish to e-file a state return - because it costs money to file. It is heck to ever get it printed without garbage on it - even if your federal tax return has been accepted, and it shows on the screen. It just goes in a circular motion forever and ever and ever and ever.
Of course, trying to get this review to you is pretty miserable. I doubt that four "nicknames" are already taken.
What's great about it: Everything runs pretty smoothly. It is easy to go back and finish a return.
What's not so great: Printing is more of a problem

Not Impressed this year!

Why would TurboTax print "Caution Triangles" on the forms I am to submit to the IRS when TurboTax says the return is error free? Isn't that likely to draw the attention of IRS auditors?
What's not so great: Missing Mailing Instructions/Warning Triangles
