2015 Turbo Tax

Turbo Tax has always been easy to use. It walks you through everything you need. The information from the previous year is transferred to the current return which is helpful. My only complaint I couldn't transmit my return because the program needed updates. However the updates failed. I searched the support site and found you can manually download the update. I tried to install that and it failed for a .Net verification error that apparently has been around for quite some time but never fixed by Intuit. I did find a way to install the update. But, you shouldn't have to search to find a way to update the program especially if they know there are issues.
What's great about it: Easy to use.
What's not so great: Update failed.

I just keep going around in circles. You have to make it easier.
I have spent a half hour trying to figure out how to get mailing directions for my state taxes. I don't want to e-file them.
What's not so great: I can't get directions to mail my state taxes.

Problem with E-Filing Payments

disappointed in the payment screen. The pop-up window and text was very small. I needed a magnifier to read the screen. This must be a defect that needs addressing.

What a reieif

TurboTax does a good job of figuring out exemptions and tax reductions. All you have to do is read the instructions carefully and be sure to understand what they (the instructions) are saying.
We have used TurboTax for three years now, and have not been sorry at all. It is a good, economical way to go.

I'll give it an 80; good beat and it's easy to dance to.
What's great about it: A lot cheasper than having a "Tax Professional" do it.
What's not so great: A little more awkward than in the past. Too repetitive.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Overall TurboTax is good for general filing purposes.
What's great about it: ease of manevuring and use
What's not so great: The questoins for secondary education was unclear. The software did not walk through how to handle educational income
