This year I had to do my deceased mothers taxes and I wasn't sure how doable it would be, but with turbo tax it was as easy as any of the other years I have done her or our taxes. Thanks. I liked that u asked if this person was deceased at the beginning. It made the other questions that needed to b answered easier such as do they live in a nursing home, etc...Questions that did not have an answer were omitted...Thanks for another good year.....
What's great about it: it is super simple to answer most questions u can start n stop 1000 times as u receive info. It exports last years.
What's not so great: sometimes the wording is a bit confusing

Applause to Intuit for the an ability to purchase a past years TurboTax (TT) Deluxe software.
The level of detail TT employs in its step-by-step process for recording data into the income tax form coupled with their recommendations truly eases customer apprehension.
I've always used the TT software for e-filing taxes and all without incident, which is the reason for my continued usage.
I filed 2013 taxes late after purchasing the TT Deluxe 2013 download from Intuit's website. For the most part, past experiences using their software were replicated without incident. Just not sure why Intuit was unable to pull data in from my past e-files into the 2013 form. Maybe, someone can let me know. Otherwise, usage of TT is highly recommended!
What's great about it: Comprehensive step-by-step software interaction; income tax file save & print features; imbedded information links
What's not so great: TT Deluxe's (downloaded) unsuccessful transfer/ upload of past years efile saved in external hard drive

Easy, Quick and Accurate!!!!

I have used Turbo Tax for over 10 years now. The ability to quickly import last years data makes tax preparation a breeze. I have sold homes, worked with investment gains and losses, got through family changes and Turbo Tax handles everything.
What's great about it: Simple to understand, thorough and fast
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments, I had a baby, I moved

it makes everything so easy to do. Walks you right through it. And imports your info from the last year. I have done our taxes ever since we got married because I had filed for myself before that. I really like the suggestions they give you too. The hardest part is simply getting all of your records together to begin with. You can make a spot on your desk to just save all receipts etc that are to be used. Nice and easy

I love how easy it is. It talks you through each step. And I love how it makes suggestions to help you more. I have done our taxes since we married and did mine before that. This is just SO much better than doing it all by hand. Its a great program and it imports your info from the last year too. Real COOL.

I have used TurboTax for a number of years and have never had a problem with preparation or filing. I always choose to let it guide me through each step, even the ones that do not pertain to me, so I don't miss anything. The Review is especially important for me as I worry about making a mistake on my return. The product improves with each passing tax year. My taxes are not difficult to file, but I know that if I ever have a need for an in-depth return TurboTax will help guide me through the tax laws quagmire.
