I have been using Tiurbo Tax for years and find it is the easiest way to file my taxes. My tax situation over the years has changed and Turbo Tax handles the changes easily.
What's great about it: Easy to follow
What's not so great: Too many rules

The software was straight forward and nice to use. The state form kept printing out progress payments even though I checked 1 payment. Please check out and fix for next person. Have a great day.

I have been using TurboTax for many years and have always been confident that everything necessary for an accurate return has been covered. The help provide in walking you through each section was simple to use and straight forward. Excellent product. I had concerns this year about buying and selling a house but TurboTax got me through.
What's great about it: secure, ease of use, help functions
What's not so great: none

TurboTax

Overall TurboTax is an excellent product for me as a retired non-business person. My taxes are relatively simple with a few investments and other adjustments. I choose to use it because of the logical approach to calculations, forms and final submission of returns. One problem occurred when I needed to input my state taxes paid during the year. At no time did the program prompt me to enter the information. I had to search through the credits section to find out how to enter the credit.
What's great about it: Once loaded and working the program guides the user by asking pertinent questions. A logical and easy process.
What's not so great: Original CD was defective requiring a replacement downloaded version.

By Far the Easiest Return

We have tried for years to use Turbo Tax and each time we still went in to one of the tax places because we did not understand something. This year, we had no problem and we feel comfortable with our final results.
What's great about it: The simple step by step instructions
What's not so great: I don't have any dislikes
