Great program. Was very easy to do taxes despite many changes for me this year.
What's great about it: easy to follow
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Used another program for years and this was so much easier.
What's great about it: The walk through was so easy I did my taxes in less than four hours.
What's not so great: Things I forgot and need to have at hand are now a list.

Very thorough and great guidance

Been using Turbo Tax for years. The process is painless and with all doc's ready to go, you can complete both, Federal and State, in an evening.
I like the import feature from the previous year as this saves time with just a quick check for accuracy.
Doing taxes for the family allows me to do up to five e-files and this is much appreciated...a BIG selling point.
Thanks Intuit...see you next year!

I thinks the instructions and step-by-step are more concise and better explained that in the past. I have used Turbo tax for many years and will continue to do so

Three Issues with Turbo Tax

First, there is no longer any way to view where you are on the Form 1040 and see where numbers are entered on the form and edit the form in Turbo Tax.
Second, I needed to file IRS Form 5329; I missed a RWD from an inherited IRA. Turbo Tax doesn't provide for it in the data base and because of my first comment I come to my third problem.
You cannot electronically file with Turbo Tax, either for the federal or state income tax, with a Form 5329 necessary in your paperwork.
I 've used the software forever and recommended it for years and now, not a happy taxpayer.
This situation makes figures in Turbo Tax 2015 incorrect as to tax paid and refund/amount owed, so next year is carried over incorrectly and will last forever?
Not a big fan anymore.
