Went well!

Had a small problem with the program giving me an error code saying TT was already running under another account (70001). Called and received prompt and courteous help. I had several user names that needed to be deleted and with some help and re-boot of computer, all is good. Program worked fine.
What's great about it: Same as before - easy to follow
What's not so great: Small problem with user names but quickly repaired

Easy to complete.

I decided a long time ago that I was smart enough to do my own taxes. Turbo Tax has helped me keep that conviction. It guides you step by step through all scenarios. If you have questions, there is ample available info to do the research necessary.
What's great about it: There are always guides and extra info to help when I have a problem.

Some things need to be changed

The form that wants your mailing or email address to keep you updated about changes in the tax laws needs a "don't show this box again" as I get tired of going by it and being asked "are you sure?". Now I just put in a fake name and address to get you off my back.
Also - I calculated my depreciation for the home back in 1997 and I do not remember the regional cost of the asset and do not want to reinvent the wheel or go back and look for 18 years worth of records. Just take my word for the amount and don,t flag it as an error-- after all, I am the one who is ultimately responsible and I am happy with it.
By the way - In asking me how I obtained the asset you never asked if it was inherited.

I've used turbo tax for several years now. It seems to get easier each year. I use the guided way--they ask you questions, and you input the answers, and every base is covered. I like that there is always an explanation available if you aren't quite sure, and I learn from these so I know next year what's deductible, what's not.
What's great about it: Quick and painless
What's not so great: none

I had to call for help and it was great being able to talk to an English speaking live person-GREAT
What's great about it: I fine it very easy to use, and can get help from a person
What's not so great: I don't understand some the way you get your figures.

Simple process

This year's version is just as good as past years. It is easy to enter the required information and the previous year import is very useful. The only this that is a little frustrating is having to go through all of the income and deductions questions to arrive at the finished return.
What's great about it: Easy to complete my return
What's not so great: Had to go through all questions to complete the returns
