Easy! No stress!

Usually my spouse does the return, but I completed it this year. We had a cross country move and it made all of the recommendations for deductions. It transfers the old information from previous year and all you have to do is amend the previous year.
What's great about it: Helped with itemizing a long move. Transferred all of last years information.

Taxes completed in record time

Another good year with Turbo Tax. Followed step by step with no issues. Waited FOREVER to get my 1099C's so I could finish. As long as you know your information and data this is straight forward process using Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: fast and quick
What's not so great: waiting for forms to finish

From years of experience with Turbo Tax software, I can appreciate the assistance it provides when filing taxes. However, I cannot guarantee that taxes are filed correctly with this software, especially if you have multiple forms of income, insurance, expenses, deductions, write-offs, ...etc. You have to pay close attention to the prompts and details when inputting information. It may seem correct at first, but when you look back at the forms prior to submission, you realize that the values entered did not go to the appropriate sections. And I see this issue happen frequently with each version of Turbo Tax that I've used. For anyone with a 1099, the home and business version of the software is a must in order to do deductions correctly, otherwise you will be prompted for an upgrade within the software, at an added expense. It's already tedious that we're charged for doing state e-files, when the software we purchase states that a state e-file is included. Upon reading the terms and conditions, that included feature is for the state e-file SOFTWARE, not the tax transmission.
What's great about it: Simple program
What's not so great: Horrible content management.

I am very pleased with this product. It is reasonable, safe and offers practical and guided assistance to completing taxes.
What's great about it: Well designed, thorough, saves your place, explains well.
What's not so great: Does not explain that if you choose to amend your return, you cannot efile. Tells you that after your choose this option

Sooooo easy!

I've been paying taxes for 37 years, most of those filing it myself, (except for about 3-5 separate years in that span), I can't believe I waited to jump on the Turbo Tax train. Been using it now for about 7 or 8 years, (1 year since then I didn't, for reasons not related to Turbo Tax). It has always made filing so easy and simple, even when my wife was self-employed from home. I always highly recommend it to friends and family.
What's great about it: Everything is put out in plane language and simple to understand.
What's not so great: I can't think of anything.

I have been using TurboTax for 25 plus years. Obviously I am satisfied to continue using the product. TurboTax keeps up with technological advances and preparing your own taxes becomes easier each year.
The ability to download from some financial institutions is a blessing in disguise.
I am an accountant so I am knowledgeable of tax law. A complete novice could still miss some items while preparing taxes. Especially with out of the ordinary circumstances!
What's great about it: Relatively Easy. The guide is great for not missing deductions or income.
What's not so great: It is not fool proof. An individual has to have some tax savvy.
