Was glad to see the store bought version had the CD instead of an empty box with just a number to use like last year. Had trouble with that last year and ended up having to call TurboTax to get it corrected. No issues this year using the enclosed CD!

I have used Turbo Tax for years to do our taxes and love the ease of its use. Gives us the best tax refund available. Will continue to use Turbo Tax in the future as well.
What's great about it: Easy step-by-step directions

Easy to file

It was an easy way to file, unfortunately a friend of mine use the basic and had to pay to file NYS state, which strongly advises to use efile. Will remember in the future.
What's great about it: use the deluxe - includes the state filing

I have been using Turbo Tax software for over ten years and I have not been disappointed. The product is simple to use, and the intimidation of tax preparation is removed. In addition, I have saved several thousand dollars by no longer using a tax preparer/accountant.
What's great about it: simplicity of use
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great walk through

I have been using Turbo Tax for nearly 2 decades and find it the easy to do all my families taxes.
What's great about it: Easy to answer questions
What's not so great: Be sure you slect the right file from last year, not the PDF for transfer of info

After each section the program keeps returning to the review screen. The screen keeps getting longer requiring the customer to scroll through the list instead of having a button to advance to the next section.

2015 TT Review

TT is still easy to navigate, and was more secure this year. After the scathing reviews last year, it appears TT has overcome many of the previous shortcomings.
What's great about it: Came back to TT in 2015 and so far I am pleased with the results
