Turbo is the best!

TurboTax keeps getting better

I love the feature that pulled information from last year and populate the details for me. It reduces potential typing errors. The tips and help features also gave me enough clues to troubleshoot any problems that I have. The e-filing feature also made it convenient for me to get things filed and paid easily.
What's great about it: The walk-through features are very user friendly

Complete & Easy

Turbotax is pretty cut and dried. You enter the information it asks for, sometimes it can even get the exact info it needs from a source such as your bank or brokerage (If you want it to) and compiles the info to accurately calculate the taxes. If you use it annually it carries over info, compares it to the current info so you can see it and evaluate. When you are satisfied it is correct it rechecks it and then you can easily electronically file. Also you can print out a hard copy for your records file. Would not do my taxes any other way
What's great about it: Covers every situation and does all the paperwork
What's not so great: Had to reopen each time from documents instead of app

I have used Turbo-Tax for six or seven years now and have found it to be thorough and accurate. It is also easy to use. This year while I was completing my KY state taxes Turbo-Tax showed that I owed over $500. in state taxes. My retirement system told me to be sure to complete form P for my state taxes. After I completed form P my taxes went from over $500. to $0. It was a relief. You may want to tell users to make sure all forms are completed before his/her final tax amount is determined.
What's great about it: I am already familiar with this software, and I find it very user-friendly.
What's not so great: I had to ask questions of my state retirement system on the KY taxes.
