Taxes made easy

Been using TuboTax for over five years and it still continues to be a great tool. Makes difficult income and tax situations easy to understand. Having history to automatically reload is wonderful. Highly recommend this process.
What's great about it: Easy to use guide that digs into all my tax avenues and issues
What's not so great: minimal
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments, I moved

very comprehensive, easy to use and reliable when it came to trying to figure out if certain aspects of the income or deductions applied to me.
What's great about it: quick,precise,lots of information on my tax situation
What's not so great: repeatededly being asked to go over your return but its for my on good

stress over

I really like turbo tax but there was a few things I would have liked more clarity on. I also didn't like how the back button made it hard to go back to your previous spot like with the W2 forms. I hit back to see which one it was then it skiped it.
What's great about it: standard deductions
What's not so great: once you hit the back button there was no going back

Ok but issues with state return

I could not e-file NY state return without adjusting the info. I moved in 2014 but some relo expenses were paid in Dec. 2014, which is my company's 2015 tax year. They withheld NY State taxes and I had to file to get them back. TurboTax would not let me file when my days worked outside of NY State = total days worked in 2015, so I had to change by 1 day. I also had to say that I received income or withholding from the city- withholding yes, income, no and TurboTax did not adjust ask additional questions to account for this.
What's not so great: state return issues

This software is easy to follow and allows you to do your own taxes with limited knowledge of the process. I was very satisfied.
What's great about it: gave good examples of what category everything fell under
What's not so great: didn't give you ideas on how to save more for next years taxes

So Easy

I've been using Turbo Tax for years and love it! Every year it imports information from the previous year and makes it so easy to just update.
What's great about it: Step by Step guidance, pulls information from previous year, easy, quick
What's not so great: None

What's not so great: Some sections are clunky but mostly due to tax code, not software
