takes the pain out of taxes

having to pay fill out a tax return is awful, but using turbo tax takes the pain out of filing the return.
What's great about it: fast, accurate
What's not so great: none that i know of

Got my taxes done fast and easy

Filling my taxes could not have been easier thanks to turbo tx, it takes you step by step through all items you need to worry about, and if you have any question, there is always a help link that gives you the answers or point you on the right direction. Turbo Tax helped me get the maximum possible refund.
What's great about it: Wizards on turbotax make everything so easy that even a baby can do it
What's not so great: Some of the help provided is not enough
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I would use turbo tax again. I was quite satisfied.
What's great about it: It was a positive experience
What's not so great: Still not totally sure I didn't miss something that could help lower taxes.

Doing my tax return was easy with the simple to understand questions & help from the "HELP DESK" type feature. I bet even my ex-husband could have figured this out. :0)

wonderful troubleshooters

I had a rejection on my state form. I was notified in less that 12hrs. I have checked form and have resubmited. waiting now if accepted. they guided me through doing this.
What's great about it: had a problem with state being rejected. they walked me through corrections

We have used TurboTax for years and have been very pleased, but this year TurboTax did not go step by step and skipped state sales tax paid. Trying to maneuver into it was not user friendly at all. I don't know what has changed and I guess we have been spoiled by TurboTax leading us through everything, but we are disappointed in TurboTax this year, may have to try another product for 2015 taxes.
What's great about it: Leads you through
What's not so great: Missed state sales taxes

Ever since I started using TurboTax to file my taxes I never looked back at the paper forms. The way TurboTax engages the user step by step making sure all is covered is so liberating. No second guessing you self, and if you do, then you can call and will receive expert advise on the issue. Not just call, you can also search the forums for the answer to your situation. They have so many ways to provide you with help it is ridiculously awesome!
Bar none, the best way to do file your taxes.
What's great about it: TurboTax has made it so easy to file, program is intuitive, step-by-step, experienced phone staff, safe.
What's not so great: None
