What's great about it: Guided me step by step
What's not so great: Sometimes the explanations were not specific enough
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2015 Turbo Tax

I've been using Turbo tax for several years now. I love that I can keep my personal information private, and that the software walks me through all the deductions. It's also super convenient that it loads my W-2, so I don't have to type that in myself. I'll definitely keep using Turbo Tax going forward.
What's great about it: Easy to Use, Private, Can start and stop as needed
What's not so great: Can't ask someone a question.

Why does Turbo Tax and H R Block show different amounts in what is either owed or refunded for both the Federal and State reports? I've verified that the same data have been entered into the software.
What's great about it: Seemed to catch all of the tax possibilities.
What's not so great: Too cumbersome to continue to scroll down when entering more dividend providers or numerous charities.

It took just over an hour to complete the whole process. TurboTax easily took me through each step and confirmed everything accordingly.
What's great about it: They explain everything in clear terms and guide you effortlessly through this.

I've use TurboTax for well over 10 years. This is the first year that I have had difficulties with the product. While it was quite easy to use as far as directions and guidance, I had difficulty finding the boxes to input the amounts. For some reason, they did not show up as outlinede boxes on my computer. Then when I printed the forms to mail them in (yes, I am old-fashioned that way), I didn't find the address for the Federal Return.
Would I buy this product again? Yes.
What's great about it: Easy to follow
What's not so great: Couldn't find boxes to input amounts; no address for mailing federal return

Program worked and got the job done.
Hope Turbo Tax will continue to sell the CD/DVD versions since I do not like working on Cloud systems.

What's not so great: None at this time
