This program seems easier to use every year.
What's great about it: simple, step by step with added explanations
What's not so great: some donation items are not listed (organizer, china cabinet)

This is a low-cost way for me to do my home and small business and get it filed. I could never do this on my own otherwise.
What's not so great: sometimes it asked for information not asked previously and I had to find the information.

So Simple to do your own taxes

I love TurboTax! It's easy to use. The guided walk through covers anything I could need. Really like the integration with major brokerage firms and ability to do state taxes.
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions, no tax knowledge required, simple to complete year after year

Dont Charge For E-File

Its easier and more cost effective to e-file. Why do you charge for that? You would increase your customer base if you had free e-filing for everyone.

2015 Tax experience w/TT

When you finish a section, the program goes back to the menu, which is fine, but it lists all the details of the sections you have already finished. You then have to scroll to the end to get to the next section. If you go back to correct or add something, it's hard to keep track of what you just did.
Years ago, TT used to have the main sections and if you needed to open it, you would click to see what is in that. This made your main menu screen much shorter and not so much scrolling to the end.
