pricing never ends

first you make me buy the software, then I have to pay extra to do two state returns, then you charge me to file both state returns.... why don't you just charge one fee upfront instead of tricking people into having to pay more and one once they've invested in the product
What's great about it: taxes were relatively easy to do
What's not so great: I kept getting nickel and dimed
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have been using TurboTax for many years. It has grown along with my needs and those imposed upon us by our Government.

What's great about it: lots of help
What's not so great: Hmmmmm

I have used Turbo Tax in the past and really was impressed at how easy it made doing my taxes for me. Because we bought and sold a business, we used a professional to do our taxes over the last years. However, I came back to Turbo Tax to do by myself once again and it has better instructions and is as easy to follow as before.
What's great about it: Very easy to follow directions and helpful questions asked to guide you
What's not so great: When I would hit the "back" button, it sometimes did not take me back to where I was before I pushed the "back" button

A Great Resource

We had a few unusual issues this tax cycle, but they were easily handled by Turbo Tax. I'm a big fan of this company.
What's great about it: Easily understood instructions and a very user friendly program.

I can not recall how many years I have been using TurboTax, but I always appreciated the guidance to effectively work through each area. I will continue to use TurboTax for myself and kids
What's great about it: Walk throughs to ensure you have all and ITS Deductible
What's not so great: Need to add stock options to basic
