Turbo Tax is a quick and simple way to file your taxes. I have used this software since its inception-simply the best!
What's great about it: Quick advice and accurate return
What's not so great: I would like to pre pay for state return

It's Easy

I had my taxes professionally done for years because I had work expenses. I retired two years ago but last year was my first complete years a retiree. My Parents use Turbo Tax and told me I should try it. I used Turbo for the first time to do my 2014 returns and couldn't believe how easy it was. I used to fill out forms, mail them to my tax preparer, wait for her to complete my returns and mail them to me for signature so I could send them back to her. With EFile I had Federal and State refunds in my bank account before the end of January last year.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate, Easy to figure out what to enter where, Love how it fills in information from last year
What's not so great: None

CANT GET MUCH EASIER THAN THIS!

I USED TO PAY TOO MUCH FOR PERSON TO ASK ME QUESTIONS AND TYPE THE ANSWERS INTO THE COMPUTER. NOW I SPEND A MINIMAL AMOUNT AND INPUT THE ANSWERS MYSELF (IN MY PJ'S) WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT! AND MY REFUND IS PROCESSED AND SENT IN A TIMELY FASHION STRAIGHT INTO MY BANK. THANK YOU TURBO TAX!
What's great about it: I LIKE THE EASE OF INPUTTING THE ANSWERS
What's not so great: NOTHING

Reliable as always

I've been a standard user for almost 8 out of 9 years. And one of those years i let someone else do my taxes, ending up with the amount, but paying more to the company. My stuff is pretty much simple and TurboTax handles it with no problem.
What's great about it: Gets me through the process quickly and effieciently
What's not so great: Nothing really to complain about

Overall a very good program; it's intuitive and easy to use. I used this product last year when I had sold a home and bought one in the same year, had wages, Alaska PFD, Social Security income for myself and child, and had retirement annuity income. TurboTax helped me sort through all of the details of every aspect without the need to consult a tax preparer. I will use this product in the future!
What's great about it: Intuitive
What's not so great: Sometimes difficult to find topics that need editing
