Easy to use and comprehensive software. Unless you have a complicated tax situation, this is the way to go!

From college to senior living and in between

I do my whole family's taxes from my nieces in college, my family, my mother and my grandmother and all the special situations. All the ins and outs are addressed. I have 21 Century Scholarships to contend with, itemized deductions with my family, obamacare and disability income, to social security with a pension - it is easy as pie for me to do them all. I also have been using TurboTax since I started doing my own taxes in 2000 so I am very familiar with the operating system so to speak. But I highly recommend it. If you can answer straight forward questions you can do your own taxes.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: really nothing

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years now. I like that it will import your previous years information. Doing taxes was never fun or easy for me. It is still not fun but way more easy to accomplish.

I will continue to use TurboTax every year. I seems to get easier! This is year 10 I think for me, and I highly recommend it to all friends and family.

easy to use

It took about 2 to 2 1/2 hours to complete. Everything was very clear and examples were given. Prompts after entries and selections made sure you got all the information I the correct spots. Just wish it had a few more categories for deductions. A few were tricky to find out where to enter. Other than that, very easy to use and understand.
What's great about it: Walks you through everything and has pop-ups to explain options and categories
What's not so great: none
