Wrapped it up today

Good product, but process of clearly explaining tax rules changes (year to year) and those "new to you" items isn't nearly as good as it was in the past.
What's great about it: Pulls in data from previous year, keeps it focused.
What's not so great: Miss videos that expained things in more detail and interviews for "new" areas you are less familiar with.

State Health Coverage section could be improved

The import from last year was also harder than the last 12 years. Some default save became pdf rather than tax saved file format. Created a lot of wasted time for me. YOUR system could not retrieve a file to use even though both federal and state were submitted thru Turbotax.
What's great about it: Nice to be able to import from last year
What's not so great: Deluxe: HC 15 a bit confusing on definitions Is Blue cross Blue Shield part of the PRIVATE insurance or the Government

Still easy-peasy

I find it easy to do the taxes every year. My returns are pretty simple but even when I have tougher issues, I can get it done fast and easy.
What's great about it: Fast and easy to understand
What's not so great: Charges for the state returns

I have been using this tax preparing service for about 7 years and it has never steered me wrong! Hopefully, it never will.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: They charge you almost twice as much to deduct the state filing fee from your return vs. credit card charge.

I have used Turbotax for several years and always liked it and never had any issues. This year, I helped a friend out and used the state of OH tax prep for the first time and had some issues. When filing and using the MAIL option, when you print, it has large "watermark" type print across the pages that it's not a file copy. There were no errors and I went back through it several times and could not get rid of the print. We went ahead and sent them as is, so hopefully they accept them.

Turbo Tax for my taxes
