Easy process

Been using Turbo Tax for many years. Ever since they bought out Parson Technology. I used Parson's program before that.
What's great about it: Covered all bases
What's not so great: Than processing fee is a little steep.

The State of RI form (and Massachusetts, too) did not have an approved form to file until 2-12-16. Was that because the State of RI was lax or was it that Turbo Tax did not get updated on a timely basis? There ought to be some mechanism in place to alert the user when selecting PRINT that an approved form is not ready yet.

Super straightforward

I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to computer skills, but Turbo Tax was really straightforward and worked me through the process step by step. My ONLY complaint was getting started. After the logo came up and indicated "downloading". I was a little confused about how to pull the trigger and get started. I guess i figured it out cause my taxes are done! Yay!
What's great about it: Once I got rolling Turbo Tax was super easy to use! It asked questions that I hadn't even thought of!
What's not so great: At the very start I was a little confused about how to start the program.

Once I figured out how to handle tax exempt interest from a Michigan municipal bond fund, the program was a breeze.
What's great about it: You usually can't go wrong doing the step by step.
What's not so great: The program doesn't clearly explain how to handle tax exempt interest from Municipal bond funds.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I have been using Turbo Tax for decades. This is the best one to date. only problem I had with it is the inability to go to
IRS regulations. Seems that in past editions I could access these laws from within the program.
